5月11日至15日，国际语言类型学学会会长、英国兰卡斯特大学Anna Siewierska教授及荷兰阿姆斯特丹大学Dik Bakker博士应邀做客中心第51—57期“名家论坛”。讲座内容主要涉及语言类型学的基本概念和方法、类型学视角下的形式语言学与功能语言学分野、常见语法结构的类型学探究。

Anna Siewierska教授的发言题目包括“English: a typologically peculiar language (on the typological peculiarities of English)”“How does literacy effect grammatical structure?” “Disputes on functional motivations: iconicity vs frequency and the structure of person marking”“Possible vs probable languages: the continuing formalism vs functionalism debate”“In pursuit of grammatical relations: from the west to the east”。Dik Bakker博士的发言题目为“Using the basic lexicon in language classification”和“Lexical and grammatical borrowing; does anything go?”。
