2005 Asia CALL International Conference

2005 Asia CALL International Conference will be held November 10 to 12, in Sorabol College, Gyeongju, R. O. Korea. It is co-hosted by Asia Association of Computer Assisted Language Learning and English Teachers Association in Korea.
Asia CALL provides a unique opportunity for colleagues from all over the world to meet for the purpose of sharing ideas. Participants can enjoy the company of new friends and old, and lay the groundwork for future collaboration, either online or offline.
The theme of this year’s conference is "CALL and New Learning Environments in Asia". Sub-topics to be discussed include: computer assisted language learning; multimedia assisted language learning; technology enhanced language learning; web-based language instruction; distance language instruction; mobile assisted language learning; literature, culture and multimedia; CALL and less commonly taught languages, CALL and multiple intelligences, etc.
The conference will gather academics, teachers, administrators, researchers and others who are concerned with the challenges of globalization for CALL. Exchanging research results and viewpoints on how CALLers can fulfill their goals for research and teaching is a key focus. The greater goal remains serving participants’ respective societies as well as the world at large.
Keynote Speakers is Prof. Andrew Lian: Ph.D, Chair of Foreign Languages, Western Illinois University, USA; Emeritus Professor of Languages and Second Language Education (Full Professor), Division of Communication and Education, University of Canberra, Australia.
