Runaway dog on the runway

DOGS are man’s best friend. But they can also cause problems. On December 17, at Manchester Airport, UK, a pet dog broke free from its chain (链子) and got into the airport. It ran so fast – nearly 56km per hour – that the workers at the airport were not able to catch it. Finally, they had to close one runway (跑道) and spend 40 minutes trying to catch the dog. |  |
