A Chinese fisherman died on Oct 16 after being hit by a rubber bullet during a *raid by the South Korean coastguard on allegedly illegal fishing in the Yellow Sea. China has asked Seoul to make a thorough investigation into the case and to protect the legal rights of Chinese fishermen.
