The International Association for World Englishes Inc. is a non-profit corporation that aims to establish international links with those involved in any aspect of World Englishes in research and/or teaching. The association focuses on global issues relating to three major aspects of World Englishes: language, literature, and pedagogy. As an organization, IAWE is committed to the study of the forms and functions of English in diverse cultural and sociolinguistic contexts. World Englishes, its professional journal, which is committed to the study of global varieties of English in their distinctive cultural, sociological and educational contexts.
