TESOL offers 2008 Principles and Practices of Online Teaching certificate program
TESOL’S Principles and Practices of Online Teaching certificate program is designed for online English language teachers and course designers. The program will help develop the skills you need to teach English language courses online effectively or blend online segments with your traditional face-to-face courses.
To earn the certificate of the program, participants must successfully pass the certificate foundation (PP 100) and completion courses (PP 200). PP 100 is the prerequisite for pursuing the certificate of completion.
PP 100 is organized on a weekly basis. The instructor may require participants to log on to the course a minimum number of times each week. PP 200 is a six-week discussion session.
Registration rates
* Certificate package: This package includes registration for PP 100 and PP 200. Package is $1,400 for TESOL members and $1,890 for nonmembers. Registrants have two calendar years to complete the program for certificate.
* Individual courses: The registration rate for individual courses is $260 per course for TESOL members and $350 per course for nonmembers.
