Extensive reading symposium calls for papers
THE 2008 Symposium on Extensive Reading in EFL will be held in Korea Nazarene University on November 22, 2008.
All presentation proposals that concern applications of or research in extensive reading in the EFL classroom will be considered. International presenters whose work focuses on extensive reading in EFL or whose research and teaching practice can be applied in EFL situations are also encouraged to apply. The deadline for proposals is August 29, 2008.
The keynote speaker will be professor Richard R. Day, the Chairman of the Department of Second Language Studies at the University of Hawaii, US. His areas of specialization include second language reading, second language teacher education, curriculum design and materials development. He has served on the editorial boards of the TESOL Quarterly and TESL Reporter.
