教师要充分讲解阅读文章中出现的重要单词、短语、谚语、句式等,这样可以将平时学生需要集中记忆的词汇中的一部分分散到每一套试卷当中。如在阅读文章中有这样一句话:While sounds may excite some people, they can be frightening to domestic and wild animals.此时,教师可适当补充与domestic相关的短语,如domestic troubles(家庭烦恼), domestic policies(国内政策)等。另外,要特别强化句式识别能力的培养。如:Home of Hope for Children was first started for a group for orphans rescued from the horrors of living in an institution run by a group of criminals who used it as a camouflage for the unlawful business.在这句话中,如果教师指导学生抓住关键词rescued, run by,who等,再确定它们与orphans,institution, criminals之间的关系,学生对句子的理解就迎刃而解了。
