EPP stands for English for Professional Purposes, such as English for workers in the tourist industry, English for computer programmers and so on.
L1 is the students' native language.
L2 is the language which the students are learning.
Input is the language which students are exposed to in class.
This can be via presentations, reading passages, listenings and so on.
Output is the language which students produce during the class, through speaking or writing.
