THAILAND'S government is considering hiring more foreign teachers for a number of subjects using English as a medium of instruction in private schools, according to EL Gazette. Math and science will be taught in English to students in private schools, which account for 18 per cent of the country's school students. "The policy will create big changes in Thailand's educational system. If it is successful, it will be adopted in state schools and universities," said Deputy Education Minister Rung Kaewdaeng.
