"HARRY Potter" audiobook series, the saga of the young English wizard-in-training, was given the first-ever Hall of Fame Award. The honour was bestowed at the Audio Publishers Association's (APA) 11th Audie Awards ceremonies. APA, the audio industry's trade organization, was created in 1987 to advocate high production values, give advice about industry-specific technical standards and promote policies that accelerate audiobook industry growth.
